Questionaire:
Would you ever eat something out of the trash? I've eaten guinea pig in Peru, silk worms in South Korea and borewors in South Africa... and I still don't think I could eat a bare PB&J out of my trash. Bagged and sealed? ...how hungry am I...?
Other than appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you? I'm pretty straight forward... and I love to laugh. That's two things.
What are your three BEST life skills? I am extremely organized and think color-coding could save the world. This is the root of all other life skills.
What’s the most important thing you’re looking for in another person? Loyalty - seriously, people. I'm not asking for long-term anything. That said, if you date someone for years and years, have the courtesy to not dump them out of the blue.
The 4 things your friends say you are…Loyal, Passionate, Overworked, and Easily amused
What are 5 things you “can’t live without?” My running shoes, passport, computer, my friends and periodic tickets to modern-ballet performances. These 5 things make me very happy.
What are you most passionate about? I'm in love with microfinance programs and the impact they are having on the lives of individuals battling poverty all over the world. This is both true and my Miss America pageant answer.
What are the 3 things for which you are most thankful? My family, my job (glad to have one) and a healthy body.
How do you typically spend your leisure time? Leisure time? Note the "overworked" description above. During the precious time I'm not working, I'm generally found 1 of 3 places - on a run, getting drinks with friends or skyping with my brother and his adorable offspring.
What is your approach to lists? Use them, use lots of them and color-code all of them.
Do you sleep with the window open or not? No - I'm a controlled environment kind of girl. I could potentially be persuaded if it contributed to keeping the room cold, thus making the bed cozier... but it would take a competent persuader.
How often do you feel plotted against? At work? Quite often. Generally speaking, rarely.
How do you walk? Like I know where I'm going and have a clear plan to get me there.
‘I have a completely different persona when I’m online than when I’m with friends and family’. Agree/disagree Disagree
What are your turn ons and turn offs? Options ranged from ‘tattoos’ to ‘skinny dipping’, ‘power’ and ‘sarcasm’. Turn on's - Confidence, smarts, adept at conversation, broad shoulders and dimples. A love of travel and adventure. Turn off's - Cruel humor and carelessness about life or people. Barging onto elevators before anyone can get off. Seriously, don't you hate that?
Imagine you have slipped on a banana skin lying on the pavement. What is your first reaction? I would make sure nothing was broken and then laugh it off or go to the hospital - depending on the the initial body check. And I'd throw the damn peel away!
